My Uncle Doug was a very unique person, someone I will always remember for his sense of humour, love and generosity. Since the day I was born, he's been a huge part of my life. Always choosing a birthday/Christmas gift especially for me and celebrating my birthday in December whenever we visited for Christmas. I have so many great memories of the times we spent together. My Uncle Doug was always a support and someone I could turn to when I needed to talk. He had a special way with all of his nieces and nephew and a special love for animals. His beloved cat, Mittens, who he taught to play fetch, a rat that he trained to jump from his shoulder to it's cage and his dog, Rolo, who passed just days before him. May you both rest in peace together. I miss you and love you Uncle Doug. xoxo

Paty my dear friend, we have shared so many moments and sadly, this tough one too. Douglas’s voice was so welcoming even just over the phone! He is dearly missed and I love to hear all those great memories about you guys together that you share with me. Forever in our hearts dear Doug.
Doug now you are in a peaceful place in Our Lord Kingdom, Rest In Peace. 🙏🏻💜
Our deepest condolences to you Paty and family.

Mike, please know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Although we did not get a chance to know your dad more personally, the stories we’ve heard about him assure us that heaven is an even better place with him in it. Our sincere condolences go out to you and Bernadette and all your family. Rest In Peace Doug ❤️ Xo

I had the pleasure of growing up with Doug. To me he was like a big brother. He was always the entertainer with his crazy stories and antics. Doug was always the life of the party, loved to have fun and make everyone laugh. He was always the biggest kid in the room, one year starting a food fight during Christmas Dinner and another time a silly spray war. I'll cherish all of the good times and remember you always Brother Doug. xoxo
